Doc O'Lena - Advertising in the early 80's (Chatter, Nov. 1983) stated that he was: "The only horse to win the NCHA Futurity after winning all four go rounds.) "The only NCHA Futurity winner to sire two futurity winners." "The only NCHA Futurity winner to have a full brother that is also a futurity winner."

 

Doc O'Lena  - This picture is from advertising that ran in 1975 Western Horseman "Legends" volume three states that his descendants have won in excess of $13,000,000. The California Horse review, below, says that it was more. The Quarter Horse Directory offers some info about him.
